Built around how your business actually runs

Tradies

You are on a roof or under a sink when the phone rings, and the job goes to whoever answers it first. This one picks up, asks what the job is and where, and books it into your calendar. When it needs a quote from you, it texts you the details instead.

Salons

Every call that comes in during a colour is a booking you might lose. This one answers, offers the next free slot, books it in, and texts the client the confirmation.

Clinics

Patients ring while your front desk is already with someone in front of them. This one answers every time, books the appointment or takes the details, and puts anything urgent straight through to you.

How this compares to an answering service. An answering service is a person who takes a message for you, so nothing is booked until you get back to them. This one answers in your own words, asks what the job is, books it into your calendar, and only passes on the calls that need you. An answering service suits some businesses, and the fuller comparison is in the guide.

Pricing

Same receptionist on every plan. Choose whether it takes calls, makes them, or both, and how many minutes a month.

Takes every call, qualifies, books, and follows up by text and email.

Setup from $990 to $3,500, paid once. Quoted after the intro call. It is a range because setups differ: how many systems it connects to, how complex your services and prices are, how many calendars. Bigger than this? We scope it.

An estimate only. It assumes the receptionist books the callers you would have booked yourself, and it ignores after-hours calls you never knew about.

How it starts

1A 25-minute intro callWe map how enquiries reach you today and what you use to book. You send your FAQs, prices and service areas. You get one price.
2We build it, you test itSet up in your words, connected to your system. You call it, you approve the script, you ask for changes. Hours to a week.
3Forward your numberFrom that day every call is answered. You read the summaries, call back the ones that matter, and we tune it every month.

Questions

Will my customers prefer a person?

Some will, and those get you: it puts them through on the triggers you set. But the choice is not between the receptionist and you. It is between the receptionist and the call nobody answered. A missed call is the worst experience a customer can have with your business, and it is the one you never hear about.

Will callers know it is an AI?

Yes, first thing. It introduces itself by name as an AI assistant and says the call is recorded, then asks the questions you would ask. Callers who would rather text are moved to SMS.

What is missed call text back?

An automatic text to anyone who rings and does not get through, sent within about a minute, asking what they needed. The conversation then carries on by text until the job is booked or it reaches you. It is included in every plan on this page. How it works, and what it costs.

Do I need a booking system?

No. If you already use one (ServiceM8, Jobber, Square, HubSpot, Google Calendar and others) we connect to it. If you have none, we set up a booking calendar and customer list for you, included.

Can I keep my phone number?

Yes. Set call forwarding at your carrier and keep paying them as you do today. Or we give you a new local number, included.

Am I locked in?

No. The setup is paid once. The monthly is month to month and you can cancel any time. Your number, your scripts and your knowledge base stay yours.

Can I run it myself?

This is done for you: we set it up, we tune it, we answer when it breaks. If you would rather run a tool yourself, we will point you to one.

How is this different from an answering service?

An answering service is a person taking a message, which is better than voicemail, but the calling back, the questions and the booking are all still yours to do. This one asks your questions while the caller is on the line, books the job into your calendar, and only puts through the calls that need you. There is a fuller comparison in the missed call text back guide.

Do you only work with Perth businesses?

No. We are based in Perth and we work with service businesses right across Australia. The receptionist runs the same wherever you are: it answers your line, books into your calendar, and the intro call is online either way.

What does it not do?

It does not take payments over the phone, and it does not argue with an angry customer. Complaints and anything you flag as sensitive come straight to you.
